Month seventeen

Carlo is on the verge of his half birthday, and has decided to give up
walking for running.

Since we have returned we have decided to do a family-oriented, i.e. Carlo-
oriented, excursion every Saturday afternoon. Surprisingly, there is
a lot happening around Princeton for families. As Carlo loves animals and the
weather has been moderately nice, we have spent much time outdoors and
on the farm (believe it or not, there are still farms in New Jersey).

There are also many ethnic festivals occurring these days. We went to the South
Asian Festival last week, and will be going to the Italian American Festival next week
(look for photos on October's page).

He may not be able to say it, but Carlo is already a Pumas fan

Carlo and I enjoyed a day out with his friend Meera and her parents
at the South Asian Festival in Mercer Park.

The next weekend we went to visit Howell Living Farm.

Carlo pet a sheep...

...viewed the oxen,

and waited for the pigs to pass by.
(it is sunscreen and food that is on his face.)

And on a visit to an orchard where we buy apples and tomatoes
Carlo checks out the tractors.

See you in October!
