Carlo has been busy making new friends here in Santa Cruz.
One of his favorite friends is named Ana and he mentions her name
several times a day. Ana's mother suggested that we take them to the wharf
where it is easy to view sea lions, seals, otters, and seagulls. The children love it,
and it is becoming a weekly destination.

There have also been picnics and the regular daily trips to the playground. And we
have even managed to picnic on the beach again - thanks to the initiative of
one of Enrico's colleagues.
