The temperatures climbed and we spent even more time outside than usual. Carlo
always knows the location of the closest park wherever we are in Santa Cruz.
He alternates between calling out "Parque, park, parque!" to make sure
we understand.

He also recognizes car dealerships as our enormous old vehicle gave up, and made
us look for a more convenient and more gas efficient car. Carlo is a car fanatic
and loved sitting in the different model cars in the showrooms.

The warm weather allowed us to use the pool in our complex. Carlo loves to jump
in the pool (Fortunately, there is a fence around it so that we do not have
to worry about him diving in at other times). The only difficulty
is getting him to leave the pool. He wants to stay in long after the sun starts to fade.

We are off to Copenhagen for the month of August. Enrico will be working, but we
are hoping to take a few days to explore southern Sweden. And we will have a
few days in Princeton on the way back and are looking forward to seeing our friends there.
