This month like the last has been full of organization and preparation, yet
Carlo has continued his weekly activities and on the weekends
he goes to watch the surfers off of West Cliff. We have also been to
a few harvest festivals (Santa Cruz is surrounded by farms).

Carlo's abuelo came to visit us for a week. Carlo was enthusiastic to have
another grandparent in the house, and woke up every morning
asking for abuelo. We rode a train through the mountains,
introduced Abuelo to one of Carlo's playgroups, and walked along
the beach.
