| Our first trip to Rome was in December of 1999. Our friends Andrea and Alessandra invited us to spend Christmas with their families. And we jumped on the opportunity and began a legacy of trips to follow. | |

Il Foro Romano, where Julius Caesar once stood, amazed me. We stood in awe of what the Romans 2,000 years before created. | |||
| I loved this elephant (have 5 photos of it). It was created by Bernini and on its back it holds on of the many obelisks that were taken from Egypt. Now it sits surrounded by cars (there is a definite shortage of parking space). | |
