We brought Carlo to Piazza San Marco to see if he would engage in the
toddler pastime of chasing pigeons. He expressed some mild interest,
but there was no chase...at least
not of pigeons. An amorous little girl set her sights on Carlo and he
raced
around trying to escape her kisses.
My father and Bridgette relied on Carlo to help them
negotiate the maze of streets.
